Similar to ‘Sir’ in English, the word ‘Efendi’ is a mark of respect in the Turkish language. We offer our valued customers the kind of hospitality normally received in a Turkish home. In fact, we say ‘Come to Efendi’s and you’ll be treated like a royal’.
Since 2009, we have been offering our customers a unique and authentic experience of traditional Turkish food, culture, music and warm hospitality.
Fully licensed, Efendi’s Turkish Restaurant is located in Victoria Point Brisbane. Since opening, we have developed a loyal customer following and plans are currently in place to open another Efendi’s Turkish Restaurant closer to the Brisbane CBD. Watch this space!

Head Chef: Mustafa Seckin
Our head Chef, Mustafa Seckin has over 20 years experience cooking in various Turkish restaurants, both here and overseas. He spent 6 years as Chef at the Swiss Hotel Bosporus, where he was awarded ‘Master Pidè Maker’, after which he spent seven years working as a Chef at the renowned Ephesus Restaurant in Singapore.
After moving to Australia, Mustafa took up the position of Head Chef at Efendi’s and has been with us since we opened in 2009.

Our Team
We aim to make dining at Efendi’s as close to an authentic Turkish experience as possible. Mustafa guides our team in the kitchen, overseeing all preparation and meals to ensure the highest quality every time.
At Efendi’s Turkish Restaurant, service is a focus and we only employ the best floor staff who have proven their dedication to providing the best customer service.

Venue / location
Efendi’s Turkish Restaurant is located in Victoria Point, Brisbane - behind the cinemas at Victoria Point Lakeside. There is plenty of parking nearby in the complex.
We offer a range of dining options, including beautiful alfresco front and side decks surrounded by trees. We have 2 levels of dining inside – a large bottom section and our ‘Harem’ - a raised level where diners sit on traditional Turkish ottomans, surrounded by colourful silks and authentic Turkish crystal lighting.
We cater for everything from intimate dining, to large family celebrations and corporate functions. Please refer to our functions page for more details.
